Alan Molleur - CAM
Director of Facilities and Capital ExpendituresAlan Molleur joined the DARO Management team in February 2010. With many years of Property Management experience under his belt, Alan came to DARO with a willingness to make a difference. In his role as Director of Facilities and Capital Expenditures, Alan is responsible for the overall management of all capital improvement and renovation projects and for overseeing operations of all boiler and mechanical rooms. Alan has over 30 years of experience in property management, facilities and maintenance with hands on experience at every level. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Energy and Engineering at Southern Management Corporation, in Vienna, Virginia, where he was responsible for all aspects of the Energy and Engineering requirements of a 25,000 unit portfolio. Prior to employment at Southern Management Corporation, he worked for other well-known management companies, namely Equity Management and Poretsky Management, Inc. Alan has played a very active role throughout the DC metro area property management industry. He is the former President of the AOBA Alliance, a position he held for over seven years and he is also Past President of PMA, where he has also served on numerous committees and on the Board of Directors. Molleur is a certified facilitator and has been chosen several times to be a guest speaker at various energy and engineering conferences throughout the country. In his spare time, Alan is an avid golfer and anticipates any chance he can get to play the game.
