It will be held at the nation’s most famous park, the National Mall. Cities in 192 countries all over the world are celebrating the annual holiday on April 22nd through the Earth Day Network. The Earth Day Rally will feature several well-known musicians and numerous speakers. Several members of Congress will speak, along with DC Mayor, Vincent Gray, and Denis Hayes, the original organizer of Earth Day in 1970. An “EcoVillage” will also be showcased on the National Mall.
