So you’re sitting around you apartment for rent dc looking for something fun to do this summer, maybe even meet some new people while you’re at it? Or maybe you’ve just moved into the DC area and are looking to make some local friends?
Well you’re in luck! All this week we’ll be diving into the Social & Sport Leagues of Washington DC! Team up with your friends or fly solo, either way get ready to make some new friends over friendly games followed by a few rounds of drinks.
For today’s installment we have 3 kickball oriented organizations that have a variety of sport leagues throughout the year, with just as many social gatherings. All are focused around having fun and getting to meet people you would never have met any other way.
CHASE Kickball- Just one of the great social leagues around DC, currently the following Summer leagues are open for registration: Social Beach Volleyball (hurry, this starts tomorrow!), Arlington Softball (Mid July), District Kickball (Late July), and Constitution Kickball (Late August).
NAKID- Kickball is the sport of choice over at NAKID, registration for their summer kickball leagues is currently open with games beginning near the end of July after the season kick off parties. Currently they’re offering scheduled kickball games at 6:30pm 4 days a week with two times on Sundays held at 2pm & 3pm respectively.
DC Kickball- Another great Kickball/Social League, DC Kickball is currently in between seasons. Its Fall season registration is currently open, with an intended season start expected in August and September, depending on the division.
