2010 Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival

Looking for something fun to do tonight with the whole family? Want to get out of your apartments DC for rent? Well you’re in luck! After a quick trip down the highway you’ll be in Rosslyn kicking back under the stars, watching this week’s film on a huge outdoor screen in the beautiful Gateway Park!

This week’s movie is “Ms. Doubtfire,” a personal favorite of mine. But if you can’t make it to this week’s film, no need to worry.  Every Friday night until September 3rd the Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival will be showing an iconic 1990’s movie at dusk. (~8pm)

This year’s theme is “I Heart the 90s” and as such they’re playing a great selection of movies from the 90s. A few of the upcoming movies are; “Home Alone” (July 9), “Dumb and Dumber” (July 30), and “Billy Madison” (September 3).

Be sure to bring blankets and low chairs to have a comfortable time watching the film. You’re encouraged to show up early to picnic and participate in the pre-show, 90s-themed games.  Most importantly, this event is free and open to the public!
