In fact, according to recent Nielsen Ratings, tracking World Cup viewership on ESPN and ABC, Washington DC is ranked #2 in the country, behind Miami with most views of World Cup matches.
And with the US Team, holding its own as the underdog against the supposed powerhouse that is the English National team, it’s no surprise to see more and more Americans catching the fever.
