With the weather still on the chilly side, you might still be looking for things to do inside. The Uptown Theatre, which is also known as the AMC Loews Uptown 1, is a historic single-screen theater in the Cleveland Park neighborhood. Since it’s opening on October 29, 1936, it has been the site of many Hollywood premieres.
Don’t let the outside of this theatre fool you. The theatre capacity is 850 and the screen is curved and enormous at 70ft long and 40ft high. It is one of the largest in the area, but most importantly…the seats are incredibly comfy!
